PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

The agenda of the Congress is multi-dimensional spanning research on organisms ranging from humans to microbes spanning levels from molecules and cells to populations. For researchers and practitioners working in the area of human health, the Congress offers a breadth and depth of content across a number of the six themes but, in this newsletter we focus on:

Genetics and Human Health

Topics ranging from the finding of disease genes to the discovery of drugs to ethical considerations and implications for counsellors will be discussed in 9 symposia with 18 invited speakers from across the globe. Additional presentations and posters will be selected from abstract submissions. The plenary addresses in this theme will be given by Professors Nicola Mulder and Nancy Cox. but we invite you to explore the Congress Program and invited speaker list to learn more about the program on offer.
